All Ireland Champions The K Club
Friday 5th September 2025:- The opening ceremony was held , our Resident Piper led a parade to the clubhouse where the four Finalists were welcomed . A draw was conducted for the semi-finals and a drinks and canapes reception then took place.
Saturday 6th September 2025:- Conditions were very windy but dry. Results:-
10.00am Semi -Finals: K Club 4 County Cavan 1
11.00am Semi- Finals: Woodstock 3 Mulranny 2
Sunday 7th September 2025:- Conditions still windy & dull but mostly dry. Results:-
10.00am 3rd & 4th Place Playoff: County Cavan 3 Mulranny 2

CHAMPIONS CROWNED – JB Carr Diamond Trophy 2025
An unforgettable weekend of golf concluded with The K Club emerging as All-Ireland champions in a thrilling finale that epitomised everything great about inter-club golf.
The defining moment: With the final locked at 2-2 against Woodstock Golf Club from Co. Clare and the decisive match all square on the 18th tee, The K Club delivered under ultimate pressure—a perfectly struck 7-wood from 173 yards into challenging wind conditions, landing just 12 inches from the pin to secure victory.
This year had a significant number of clubs participating from the four provinces , some first time entries together with many clubs who have taken part each year since 1996. The J.B.Carr Tournament is approaching its 30th anniversary celebration in 2026.

Every participant can hold their heads high in reaching Woodenbridge Golf Club for this finals weekend as it already marked them as provincial champions. There truly were no losers on a weekend where the tournament was played with the integrity and sportsmanship that would make J.B. Carr himself proud.
